Dry so dry.... all my inspiration has run dry. I can't do anything. I can't work on anything. My artwork is shitty. Failure. 22 Jun 2008
I believe my passion will take me many places. I've marked many places on the world map that I want to visit, not because of the places I will see, but the people I will meet. I don't look for "beauties" or "wonders" that the world may provide for me, and I don't want to experience a "new culture". What intrigues me most is meeting the people I have worked with and have seen the works of and learning what makes them tick. I want to meet these brilliant minds and see what drives their inspiration and their works. Perhaps I'm different, but I don't see a purpose in seeing "new places", no matter how appealing they may be. Personally, I have many people I want to meet, including Mike Harrison, Pete Harrison, James Wignall, Niklas Lundberg, Brian Smith, Ehren Kallman, Ravi Vasavan, and Justin Maller. These people, I have found to be very friendly, interesting, and have their shit together. So I want to know how these people truly are in person. Perhaps the awkwardness that you experience when you meet a person for the first time in the flesh pushes back the development of friendship, but nonetheless, you discover how these people really are, and I'm interested. 20 Jun 2008
Not really much of an update, figured I'd scribble down some thoughts onto the site while I'm bored. Anyways, After a few days I've gotten quite bored of this current site, so I've decided to redo it. You won't know when, you won't know where, but I'll fix it up. 17 Jun 2008
Last one for today, I updated the "About" and "Contact" sections. They are now fully functional. 16 Jun 2008
Short little update, I've updated my works, added new work from Liferay, I will be updating with more work soon, you can check out the work on the side bar. Personally, I would have liked to updated with images in my blog, but I do love the loads of tiny text that you can barely read. Anywho, more updates in the future. 16 Jun 2008
One does feel the need to post in the blog as soon as it's up, right? I'm currently writing from my mac at work, and as a at-home PC-user, I can tell you that my experience with the Mac up to this point isn't too great. I personally am not fond of the controls and the shortcuts the mac uses. Using the command+(insert whatever type of letter here), combination pisses me off to no extent. I was attempting to get work done on my Mac, and as soon as I got comfortable enough with the command+crapping, I got home, worked on my PC, and found myself constantly using the alt key instead of the ctrl key, which is what I was normally used to and comfortable with. This was probably a major hassle I found jarring. So gimme my PC back. What works for some people doesn't work for all. Just because suddenly it's become cool to use a Mac for work doesn't mean it floats with everyone. Perhaps its because I have just started using this system that I find myself so aggravated, but we shall truly see how I feel in about two to three months. 16 Jun 2008
I managed to add all of the images, so the works are now fully functional and available to see. I'll try to keep this updated as much as possible. This is probably the most work I'm willing to do on my site, so don't expect much in terms of style and graphics. I'm keeping it clean and simple like this, it's 1000x easier to edit and updating it won't be so bad anymore (although the other sites ran on just one page and I hardly updated those). But I plan to keep this one as long as I can, and be able to use it as an outlet for myself as much as possible. I will finish up the rest of the links tomorrow, but meanwhile, all contacts can refer to me through my e-mail at: vyexcel@gmail.com. Enjoy. 15 Jun 2008
Newest update. Site is online, but works are not. I'll be able to finish this up and upload necessary works later on the future. Content Management Powered by CuteNews |
